If you desire to catch a glimpse of the giant humpback whales, then schedule your tour around mid-March or mid-April when Tofino became alive with thousands of spectators from across the globe flocking to be a part of the Pacific Rim Whale Festival. You may opt to join in a guided tour with charter companies who could point you in the right direction to catch a glimpse of these gigantic monsters. For a more novel approach, try heading to Hot Springs Cove. The trip to and fro would let you see more than mere whale watching. You can discover the magnificent bald eagle along with its majestic wonders plus lots of pleasurable time pampering yourself in the hot spring water!

March-May is the Gray Whale Migration or sometimes they are summer residents.

There are many whale tours available

in the Tofino and Clayoquot Sound areas.
